On March 18, 2026, the annual Networking Meeting of the Polish Association of Civil Engineers and Technicians (PZITB), Gliwice Branch, took place at the Silesian University of Technology Employees’ Club. The event brought together a large group of members and supporters of the construction industry, creating a space for discussions, exchange of experiences, and professional networking.
One of the key points of the program was a presentation dedicated to the Workcamp initiative, carried out by the Young Professionals Committee of PZITB. This project represents a particularly important element of the organization’s activities, combining the professional development of young engineers with meaningful social support.
Workcamp is a charitable initiative aimed at supporting public benefit institutions through renovation and construction works. The project engages civil engineering students and young engineers, enabling them to gain valuable hands-on experience in real-life investment and construction processes. Each edition of the project is organized by local PZITB branches, allowing activities to be tailored to the specific needs of local communities.
We are pleased to have supported this initiative as one of its sponsors. Our involvement in the Workcamp project reflects our strong belief in the important role of young engineers in shaping the future of the industry.
At the end of the meeting, the facility that will be supported in the upcoming edition of Workcamp MK PZITB 2026 was also presented. We encourage you to learn more about the activities of the Young Professionals Group of PZITB Gliwice and the “Workcamp MK PZITB” project on Facebook and LinkedIn. 🔍
