Installation of the pilot gas cleaning system and modernization of the blast furnace charging equipment 🎥👷♂️
On the occasion of Steelworker’s Day, we’re excited to share footage from one of our completed projects for ArcelorMittal Poland.
The video showcases scenes from the renovation of blast furnace No. 2 in Dąbrowa Górnicza, including the Impressive pilot gas cleaning installation and the modernization of the blast furnace charging equipment.
🔢 The project in numbers:
👉 Dismantled structures: 1,897 tons
👉 Installed new structures: 1,763 tons
👉 New foundations: 780 m³
👉 Insulating concrete: 670 tons
👉 Corrosion protection: 2,450 m²
👉 Wear-resistant coating: 900 m²
💡 Can’t quite imagine those numbers? To put it into perspective, the newly installed structure accounts for approximately 24% of the mass of the Eiffel Tower!
