SELECTED SHOTS FROM THE RENOVATION OF BLAST FURNACE NO. 2 IN DĄBROWA GÓRNICZA 📸✔️

We present one of two videos created during the execution of works for ArcelorMittal Poland. 🎥 This footage documents the activities carried out as part of the over PLN 720 million modernization of Blast Furnace No. 2 in Dąbrowa Górnicza.

In the video, you will see, among other things:
🔧 Removal of coke and breaking up solidified pig iron residues,
🔧 Dismantling and installation of cooling plates from various levels,
🔧 A look inside the blast furnace after the removal of coolers,
🔧 Installation of a new tuyere platform and cooling system,
🔧 Precise placement of carbon blocks (with an accuracy of 0.05mm) and ceramic lining,
🔧 Preparation and installation of newly designed tuyere sets,
🔧 Installation of new coolers inside the blast furnace,
🔧 Local replacement of the blast furnace shell,
🔧 Design, manufacturing, and CE certification (2023) of a suspended platform with a variable diameter of 7–14m—the only such advanced movable platform in Poland and Europe—used for installing coolers inside the blast furnace.
