ASSEMBLY OF AN ABSORPTION TOWER - ANWIL WŁOCŁAWEK

One of the biggest challenges on the ANWIL S.A. project was an 52,5 meters high and a weight of 172 tons apsorption tower assembly operaration. It was necessary to place two elements of the tower from vertical to horizontal position on the pre-assembly site, carriage them by specialized transport to the destination place and finally assembly of the lower and upper part of the tower. The operation was carried out using a Liebherr 11 200 9.1 heavy crane (biggest mobile crane in the world).
